Works on reconstruction of the grain elevator located in Tume municipality of Tukums region are about to end. Customer: Joint-Stock Company "Tukuma Straume"; General Contractor: Emimar. Tukuma STAUM 2015 152x80

The project has consumed over 31.5 tones of metal structures manufactured by IZOTERMS SIA. The steel structure design, engineering calculation and installation were carried out by Emimar specialists. Our company delivered and installed a total of 964 m2 of PUR 80 sandwich panels by Marcegaglia (Italy). As to roofing system, Emimar decided in favor of Blachy Pruszyński profiled sheeting and soft roofing membranes by a well-established Norwegian business PROTAN. Emimar specialists have installed 558 m2 of T135 Trapezoidal Sheets and 492 m2 of PROTAN SE PVC membranes.

The reconstruction project was developed by company Dace represented by its chief architect Andris Deliņš. Long-term cooperation bears good fruit!

Protan PVC membranes (Norway) are a modern lightweight single-layer roll waterproofing material that can be used in all climatic zones. Protan SE membranes can withstand extreme temperatures, water, snow and sunlight. They are extremely durable with service life over 35 years. Each membrane has an anti-slip textured surface. PROTAN SE PVC membranes are manufactured from self-extinguishing components and are highly fire resistant.

And now a few words about Marcegaglia. Marcegaglia is an industrial group, a world leader in steel processing. Their annual output amounts to 5 million tons a year. One of the group's major departments is engaged in the production of sandwich panels in collaboration with factories in Italy, Romania and Poland. A wide range of sandwich panels by Marcegaglia allows architects and clients to use them at various facilities: technology parks, logistics centers, supermarkets, sports facilities, agricultural buildings and so on.
